Gayà: “Being the captain of Valencia CF still moves me”
The footballer from Pedreguer features in European Football Clubs to speak about how training and environment shape a player’s career progression
Valencia CF are back in Spain and back in training, holding a session at the Ciudad Deportiva on Friday morning. With the Supercopa behind them, the squad are focused on the January 19th LaLiga meeting with RCD Mallorca. The game will mark the start of the second half of the league seasion, with Valencia CF currently in sixth place in the table.

Returning for the Friday session was Kang In, who trained with his teammates during part of the workout for the first time since his injury. In recent weeks he has been training separately from the squad on a recovery routine, and the VCF Academy product is in the final stages of the process.

The rest of the group undertook an intense session, following on from a light gym session for the Supercopa starters upon their return from Saudi Arabia on Thursday. The next time at the Ciudad Deportiva for the players will be on Monday.
